How this course can help.
The Aluminium Rolling Technology Course covers all the key aspects of hot and cold rolling of aluminium flat products. Our consultants, who have a huge amount of industry experience, write and deliver the modules. They’re very familiar with the day-to-day issues of a rolling plant and they’ve created this course to help you solve them. Many of the presentations are supplemented with hands-on workshop sessions.
Each delegate receives a 1100 page reference manual containing the presentation and workshop material, as well as an electronic version on an encrypted USB stick. We’ll also give you a smart bag to carry them home in!
This course is recognised by the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) as Professional Development.
Who is the Aluminium Rolling Technology Course for?
The course is primarily designed for engineers and managers who work in aluminium rolling. However, it would also benefit managers requiring an up-to-date overview of quality-improving technology, as well as engineers new to the field of rolling.
We restrict the attendance to allow ample time for questions and discussion.
How long is the course?
The duration of the course is 5 days, and a sample agenda is shown above. It will take place at a conference venue in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Usually, this is also where our delegates will be staying, so it is very convenient too.
Social activities.
One of the many advantages of holding an in-person training course is the chance to get to know your fellow delegates. After all, everyone works in the same industry and so will share the same issues and frustrations.
To facilitate networking, we include two social evenings, plus a fascinating tour of one of Jaguar Land Rover‘s manufacturing plants in the course fee. The factory tour is definitely a highlight of the course. It provides an excellent opportunity for our delegates to see how an end-user processes aluminium sheet.
Our past delegates have always really enjoyed these events.
Registration.
You can register by returning the Course Registration Form to us. The Course Details Sheet gives more information about each module. You can download both from the links at the top of this page.
